Family Photos

My Mom recently forwarded me some pictures of her older sister Paulette who passed away at a young age. It got me into looking at some other photos I had lying around so I thought i'd share.

This picture is of my Grandma Stansberry (my Mom's Mom) at around 20 years old, holding my Aunt Paulette in 1948. My Aunt Linda thinks her and I have a resemblance.

Carlsbad Flower Fields

Mom and I visited the Carlsbad Flower Fields on Easter yesterday morning. I had always wanted to check it out, but it's one of those "girl" things that I would never be able to drag Ricky to. It was much larger than I had anticipated, 50 acres in total, of ranunculus flowers. We decided to go ahead and pay the $10 extra so we could ride the wagon around the entire field and get the total effect. It was a beautiful way to spend Easter Morning. We also enjoyed some shopping at the Carlsbad Outlet Mall right next to it, Score!
